Vicryl - a polyfilament resorbable suture material
Vicryl (Vicryl) - synthetic polyfilament resorbable suture material is manufactured by Ethicon (Johnson & Johnson).
Composition: poliglactide 910
The coating is calcium stearate and polyglactin 370
Mechanism of resorption: hydrolysis
Term resorption: 56-70 days after surgery
Application
In all areas of surgery: comparison of soft tissues (including laparotomy wound suturing, intradermal cosmetic suturing) and ligation.
Characteristics
- Painless sutures resorption
- The reaction of inflammation in the tissues is minimal
- Reliable fixation of the node
It is not recommended to apply if conditions are present that can slow down the wound healing process.
